EU Reiterates ‘Concern’ over Effects of Sahara Conflict on Security in the Region

Brussels - The European Union (EU) reiterated its “concern” over the effects of the Sahara conflict on the security in the region.

“The European Union is concerned over the long duration” of the Sahara conflict and its effects on “security and integration in the region,” the European Union Council said in its reply to MEPs question on the effects of the persistence of the artificial conflict on Europe’s security.
